- Janet Johnson

Back in the 1970s, David Cassidy was my idol, then the Bay City Rollers and many other boy bands. Then in 2002, when I met my second husband, he introduced me to prog music. Some of it, I must admit, isn’t to my liking, but since meeting him I have seen The Flower Kings twice, The Enid, Steve Hackett twice, Yes at Powderham Castle many years ago, Fairport Convention, Todd Rundgren and, one of my favourites, Marillion once last year. We are going again in November to see them in Bath. Steve Hogarth has an amazing voice. A group I haven’t seen yet but would love to is IQ: I think Peter Nicholls has the most amazing voice ever. It just goes to show you can change your taste in music, and, thanks to my husband, I now enjoy listening to some great music. Beautiful by Marillion is one of my favourites.
