FROST* CONFIRM THAT THEIR EP IS DUE OUT IN JUNE

First release since 2016 builds towards their next album.

-

British alt-proggers Frost* have announced the launch of Others, a six-track EP that sees keyboardist Jem Godfrey dusting down previously unreleased songs from the band’s Falling Satellites sessions.

It’s available to stream now, with a physical release to be included in their 13

Winters box set via InsideOut. A new studio album is also due in September.

Godfrey describes the EP’s material as “typical Frost* in that it isn’t typical Frost*.” He explains: “There are some very bombastic, lairy songs on there, but there’s also a simplistic sea shanty set in the 17th century, so we might surprise a few people with these songs.

We wanted to get something out there before our fourth album and Others makes a good stepping stone between the two albums.

“If we’re going to tour again,” he says of the future, “we’ll want to give the fans a big production and lightshow. We’ll see.”
