IT WAS A COLD AND FROSTY DAY. Lockdown kept my son from going back to university, my daughter’s A levels were cancelled and I hadn’t seen my family, who live overseas, for more than a year.
I felt low, so I went for a walk – as I have done throughout the past year to help with my mental health. I spotted this flower and it reminded me that this won’t last forever. Spring will come and restrictions will ease as vaccines are rolled out. Nature once again provided me with much-needed perspective and brought me hope. April
