SOCIAL IDEAS THAT STICK

-

This resourceful and artistic project reminds shoppers about the importance of food banks, writes Ellen Tout

CREATED BY DESIGNERS Maisie Benson and Holly Kielty, Think Food Bank is a brilliantly creative campaign that aims to take on food poverty with guerrilla stickers. After noticing that often the only reminder about food banks is the donation station at supermarket exits, the duo illustrated stickers that can be craftily placed in the aisles.

‘We want our stickers to be wherever a shopper might think to donate. It’s easy for people to forget about food banks until after they’ve paid for their shopping,’ says Benson. Kielty adds: ‘Design has the power to do so much good, and we saw that there was a simple solution to a wider problem.’
