Mushroom beers are the latest drinking trend being served up in Britain’s bars, with these low- or no-alcohol tipples offering a grown-up, savoury taste that has got the thumbs up from many ale enthusiasts. Brewers say the drink is hangover free and offers much of the medicinal benefits of mushrooms, while also being a more environmentally sustainable choice.
