Read all about it
Who says kids have all the fun? In the wake of World Book Day, now comes the altogether more grown-up World Book Night. Held on 23 April, it’s a celebration of the transformative power of literature, whether you read regularly or haven’t picked up a book in a while. If you want to get involved, there is a list of 26 fiction and non-fiction titles that will be given away in care homes, prisons, public libraries, mental health settings and youth centres – you can buy a copy and donate one through worldbooknight.org. There are also four free audiobooks to enjoy. Spread the word by reading a book during ‘Reading Hour’, 7-8pm on 23 April, and share what you’re reading using #Readinghour and #Worldbooknight
