As I am currently studying for a coaching qualification, I was drawn to subscribing to your magazine. But I also found myself pleasantly rewarded in my current work as a women’s health nurse by your April edition dossier – an enlightening read on healthy hormones.

I always listen attentively to my clients as they undergo their hormonal journey of changes, and this article’s content has reinforced my sense of purpose and achievement working in this field of care, navigating the complex journey of mind and body that occurs when dealing with symptoms in this natural but challenging time of life. Thank you for highlighting to women who may not realise what is happening and, as I have often seen in consultations, are in crisis mode, believing themselves to be having a breakdown or suffering from early onset dementia, feeling frightened and overwhelmed. I hope that women read this and believe in themselves, recognise hormonal havoc, and seek advice.

From a passionate women’s health nurse, glampsite owner and soon-to-be coach, keep up the good work, Psychologies! Donna Loose
