Mandala marvels

Quick Cards Magazine - - Quick Fixes -

I love the intricacy of henna and would like to incorporate it on my card designs. Have you seen any patterned stamps or dies I could use? Ameera Malik, Birmingham

Vicky: I think the Blockwallah range of wooden stamps is perfect for this, Ameera. Blockwallah stamps (available from Create and Craft) are hand carved in India and the designs are all Indian themed. Use the intricate paisleys or mandalas to design your own background or the elephant or lotus flower as a focal point for your card. Another stamp set that I like is the Lil’inker Modern Mandalas, a set of three mandala images perfect for colouring or heat embossing. There’s a coordinating set of dies too that will cut out the mandala images with ease. The mandala stamps and dies are available from www.sevenhillscrafts.co.uk.

Add an exotic touch to your card designs with mandala stamps
