HHA and FWA work continues

W H Davis’s Langwith Junction workshops continue to work on cutdown HHA hoppers and FWA Ecofret 2 container flats.
On March 13, DC Rail’s
No. 60055 was tasked with delivering nine ‘shorty’ HHAs, Nos. 370256/60/1/6/79/81/4/6/95 as a 6Z60/10.22 to Gascoigne Wood Sidings. A reverse trip took place just two days later on the 15th when the same Class 60 moved 11 full-length HHAs to
W H Davis for conversion as a 6Z61/13.30 from Gascoigne Woods comprised of Nos. 370255/7/359/67/ 8/72/80/1/92/3/406.
A further seven complete Ecofret 2 ‘triple’ sets for GB Railfreight were moved off site for storage on March 17, GB Railfreight’s No. 66731 Capt. Tom Moore collecting the following and then departing as a 6Z60/11.17 to Gascoigne Wood: Nos. 83 70 4520 234+83 70 4521 053+83 70 4520 235 to 83 70 4520 246+83 70 4521 059+83 70 4520 247.
