LONG-TERM Soho depot resident

No. 08805 has lost its Robin Jones – 40 Years’ Service nameplates as the person it was named after has retired. It was named in 2019 to commemorate his 40 years of service. Remarkably, as Robin moved around the West Midlands depots from Bescot to Tyseley and then Soho, so did the ‘08’!

RMS LOCOTEC

RMS-OWNED No. 08809 paid a brief visit to Toton to make use of the wheel lathe there. Currently used at Ketton Cement Works, it arrived at Toton on March 20 and departed home the following day.
