IN BRIEF CLASS 50 ALLIANCE ASSISTS THUNDERER

HAVING failed its FTR (Fitness to Run) exam on July 30, which resulted in No. 50049 Defiance taking its place on the following day's ‘Thanet Thunderer' tour, Hanson & Hall's No. 50008 Thunderer was hauled to Kidderminster on August 1 to enable the Class 50 Alliance to undertake spring repairs to the loco.
