FINAL TPE MK.5 SET ENTERS SERVICE

AUGUST 23 saw the last of Trans Pennine Express's Mk.5 sets, TP03 (made up of Nos. 11503, 12707-09 and 12803) put in its first appearance in service, when it was used on the 1E41 15.29 Manchester Piccadilly-Scarborough, hauled by No. 68032. Still to appear is DTSO No. 12802 – its place in set TP02 is currently taken by the fleet spare, No. 12814.
