WENSLEYDALE ACQUIRES FORMER SHUNTER

ONE of five shunters built by Brush in 1977 for use on the Tyne & Wear Metro network has joined the fleet at the Wensleydale Railway. No. WL4, which saw use on Channel Tunnel construction work after leaving the North East, was more recently based at Hardingham station.
