RAIB INVESTIGATES OCTOBER ACCIDENTS

THE Rail Accident Investigation Branch is to report on the causes of two separate incidents in October. On the 12th, London Overground Class 710 EMU No. 710124

(leading No. 710111) overran the bufferstops at Enfield Town. And on the 31st, SWR No. 159012 collided with a pair of GWR Class 158s (Nos. 158762 and 158763) near Salisbury. No passengers were seriously injured in either event, but sadly the SWR driver reportedly sustained ‘life changing’ injuries.
