KESR CLASS 08 REPAIRS BEGIN

MOVED to the Avon Valley Railway for overhaul in September, No. D4118 (08888) has had its remote control equipment and associated wiring removed. The loco’s power unit is to be lifted out to enable it to be split in advance of its main generator, auxiliary generator and traction motor blower motor to be sent away for testing/assessment.
