CHASEWATER Railway resident
No. 08359 has been sold, and departed for a short-term visit to the Avon Valley Railway on November 22, where it will provide support to allow No. 08202 to undergo winter maintenance.
The loco has been bought by the Diesel Electric Shunter Company, owners of No. D4118 (08888), which is based at the Kent & East

Since being sold by British Rail back in 1984, No. 08359 has had several homes, including the Churnet Valley Railway, Peak Rail, Battlefield Line and Telford Steam Railway. In early 2022, it is expected to go on short-term hire to a line in the West of England. (See also Shunters, p86.)
