ALL-NEW ‘O’ GAUGE CLASS 37/0
A completely brand-new model of the Class 37/0 has entered the tooling room, with improved moulding and a greater emphasis on locomotivespecific details to better meet the demands of ‘O’ gauge modellers for increasingly refined models. It has exposed bufferbeams for the first time in ‘O’ gauge covering post1970s locomotives; either cast or fabricated bogies and locomotivespecific bonnet front detailing. Other detail variations being incorporated in the tooling set include end door variations and plated over doors; square-framed headlights and headcode box plating. A centre headcode box Class 37/0 is also in development.
Power for the new Class 37/0s will come from the usual twin-motor bogie drive mechanism which has proved to be so successful. Lighting, both running lights and internal lighting, is improved for the eight new models which cover the 1970s with BR blue, large logo blue, heritage BR green and privatisation liveries.
