Extra trains have been added on weekends as well as weekdays. The number of additional weekday trains is as follows:

Ryde St Johns Road to Ryde Esplanade: 1 Ryde Esplanade to Shanklin: 6

Shanklin to Ryde Esplanade: 7

Ryde St Johns Road to Shanklin: 1

During peak times, one train per hour will travel to and from Ryde Pierhead to connect with the ferry service, with the other additional service terminating at Ryde Esplanade – offering improved connections with Hovertravel. Only one train per hour has run on the Island Line since the significantly delayed reopening on November 1, although it has been synchronised with a scaled-back ferry timetable.
