IN BRIEF ‘CHOPPER’ BACK IN ACTION

AFTER rectification of brake and electrical faults by HTRS (Heritage Transport Restoration & Supplies),

No. 20087 made a test run at the Battlefield Line during December. Last used at the East Lancashire Railway, it was bought by HNRC in 2016 and later moved to Worksop. Both this loco and another HNRC ‘Chopper’, No. D8110 (20110), are currently based at the Battlefield Line.
