4G and 5G connectivity to be introduced across LU

FOLLOWING the award of a 20-year concession to provide high speed mobile connectivity, two mobile service providers (Three and EE) will be providing data access across the entire London Underground network.

This includes all ticket halls, platforms and tunnels.

The innovation will provide another much needed long-term revenue stream for TfL, once the service is switched on by the end of 2024.
