In mid-January TPE started driver training runs ahead of the new loco hauled service to Cleethorpes later this year, initially using Class 68s singly, and then with a full rake of Mk.5 coaching stock, including DVT. On January 19, DRS machine No. 68034 moves east between New Clee and Cleethorpes, running as the 0Z68 10.06 York-Cleethorpes. This single line section is flanked on the east by the coastline with limited landmarks, save for the huge cold store building seen here in the background. Jonathan Longbottom
