BLETCHLEY ‘DEMICS’ UP FOR SALE

A pair of NPCCS vehicles which have been stored at Bletchley since before BR was Privatised, have been put up for disposal by tender by Network Rail. Mk.1 GUV

No. 93723 has been present since it was withdrawn way back in 1991, while departmental No. ADB977618 (converted to a Sandite coach from Mk.1 BG No. 81564) has been similarly out of use since the early 1990s. Bids for the vehicles closed on January 25.
