NORTH STAR FINALLY ARRIVES AT NYMR

FOLLOWING delays in its road transfer from Bishops Lydeard, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway took delivery of the Diesel & Electric Preservation Group’s No. 47077 North Star on January 17. The Brush Type 4 requires its air tanks certifying before it can enter traffic, after which it will be used for a period of crew training in advance of it operating in regular service. It is on hire to the NYMR for two years.
