IOW DREWRY RAILCAR RETURNS TO USE

DREWRY Railcar No. 2, which operated on the Ryde Pier Tramway between 1927 and 1969, returned to passenger service on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway on January 23. It has undergone a complete rebuild, including a new chassis and body, but various original parts have been used, including axleboxes, engine subframe, spring hangers and some brake rigging.
