TROLLEY REFURBISHMENT IN SIGHT

On January 29 Wickham Type 17 Trolley – Works No. 590 – LNER Plant Number 185, later running number DE950021, moved from Cheddleton to the TVLR, near Oswestry, to join The Rail Trolley Trust – Shropshire Collection. We look forward to completing the refurbishment of the Trolley, perhaps by its 90th birthday in July. The Trust would be very interested in any photos of the Trolley while it was at Dinting Railway Centre (where it was first preserved in 1972).
