WESTERN QUEEN TO BE RE-CREATED

IN recognition of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, the Western Locomotive Association’s No. D1062 Western Courier is to assume the identity of No. D1040 Western Queen for the 2022 operating season on the Severn Valley Railway. No. D1040 was scrapped in August 1976.
