DRS open day returns
AFTER a two-year break caused by the pandemic, the popular DRS Open Day is back in 2022. It will take place at Gresty Bridge Depot, Gresty Rd, Crewe, CW2 5AA on Saturday 16 July, between 10am and 4pm. A loco naming ceremony will be part of the event.
Tickets cost £5 for adults (under 16s go free) and can be pre-ordered online at www.directrailservices.
com, but can also be bought on the day. Under 16s do not require a ticket, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All proceeds are used to aid UK charities and other deserving community causes.
