Fifth anniversary of TfL priority seating
As passenger numbers approach 70% of pre-pandemic levels, TfL has used the fifth anniversary of the introduction of the ‘Please offer me a seat badge’ to remind passengers of priority seats.
A different patterned moquette to normal seats was introduced in 2019, first used on the Jubilee Line. The priority seats are located immediately adjacent to doors, enabling those with mobility issues to alight as quickly as possible. Since its launch in 2017, almost 100,000 badges have been issued.
