New CFPS railtour arrangements

AS tipped in the Preservation pages last issue (p33) Class 40 Preservation Society (CFPS) has formed an operating partnership to operate

No. D345 on the mainline this summer. It has teamed up with West Coast

Railways (WCR) at Carnforth. The initial railtours include trips to Hellifield on June 23 and July 5, where the venerable EE Type 4 will give way to steam locos. For more details go to: westcoastrailways.co.uk.
