ANOTHER CLASS 37 FOR GCR – FOR SPARES RECOVERY

THE Great Central Railway took delivery of another Class 37,

No. 37605, on May 17, although the loco is not for preservation or restoration. Instead, it will be used to provide spares for the Heavy Tractor Group’s No. 37714 Cardiff Canton, and the NRM’s No. D6700 (37350), which is on long-term loan to the Heavy Tractor Group.
