HASTINGS DIESELS has announced it is postponing its September 23 tour to Cambridge on account of having to fit toilet retention tanks in compliance with running over Network Rail metals. The company intends to re-run this tour in 2023.

Another HD tour which ran into problems was the ‘Jolly Fisherman’ to Skegness which operated on June 18. It never made it to its destination because of a fault, precipitating its cancellation. HD intends to re-run this tour, possibly later this year or, alternatively, in 2023.
