-

The models will be sold in four-wagon freight train packs consisting of a Diagram 1349 five-plank and a Diagram 1355 seven-plank open wagon together with a brake van and Diagram 1426 10t van. Top-up runner packs of three wagons grouping

The Diagram 1355 seven-plank wagon is also included in the new ‘N’ gauge wagon packs by Rapido Trains. One set of the wagon packs will be finished in BR livery for modelling Southern Region freight trains. the van and open wagons together are intended to augment the freight train packs without having to wait years for new releases to accumulate enough wagons for a train. Some of the packs will be finished in BR liveries allowing Southern Region freight trains to be modelled. Each wagon in each pack will be decorated with its own running number.

An idea of the detail being applied to the new ‘N’ gauge models is shown in this view of the seven-plank wagon underframe.

The SECR 10t van is being produced in ‘N’ gauge by Rapido Trains and will be available in both a starter freight train pack of four different

SECR wagons and separate runner packs of three wagons.

The four-wagon freight train pack which includes a brake van is priced at £99.95. Top-up wagon packs are £69.95. Four freight train packs are offered alongside four each of the top-up packs which will allow a wide combination of trains to be economically modelled in one go.
