WM Metro opens extension

THE second phase of Birmingham’s Westside Metro extension opened to passengers on July 17, extending the line from Library along Broad Street to Hagley Road, with three new stops at Brindleyplace, Five Ways and Edgbaston Village. The WMM tram fleet is undergoing an extensive repair programme to deal with body cracks.
