A MINOR failure on July 21 saw the owners of No. D5185 (25035) take the decision to remove the loco from service for overhaul, which had been planned to begin after the return to traffic of No. 27056. Hopefully

No. D5185 will enjoy one final weekend of action: it should appear at the GCR’s gala on September 2-4, before it is stopped for at least two years.
