COACHING STOCK IDENTITIES

Seven Mk.1 and a former LMS inspection saloon are currently located at Brunel Holiday Park, though the latter is one of three vehicles awaiting refurbishment and is not currently in use. The vehicles, which have had their corridor connections removed, currently don’t carry their original running numbers and those available to let are simply labelled Carriage 1 to Carriage 5. Connections to the locality are tenuous – none were originally allocated to the Western Region, although the Mk.1 vehicles were transferred there in the early 1970s.
