NEW WEST COAST TRAINS

I SEE the new Class 805 is on test for the West Coast and I wonder whether the bodyshell will be crack free up to the latest specification built in the UK. I also wonder whether it was correct not to give Tesla part of the HS2 order. Was it a political decision not to build in Scotland?
