Class 802 named after local fundraiser
HULL Trains has named bi-mode Hitachi unit No. 802302 Jean Bishop – The Bee Lady in honour of a late local fundraiser who brought in over £125,000 for Age UK over 30 years, by dressing as a bumblebee. Jean’s family named the train at Hull Paragon station on October 26. Her name was overwhelmingly chosen in a public vote held on social media.
