THE latest shunter to arrive at Hunslet’s Barton-under-Needwood workshops is Tata Steel-owned Andrew Barclay No. 491 of 1964, otherwise known as Round Oak Rosie. Delivered from the West Midlands steel terminal by early October, the 0-6-0DH was undergoing component recovery later in the month, ahead of the body going for scrap.
