Eden Brows repair programme
Network Rail said the Eden Brows programme includes the following nine phases: ■ Access ramps built to bring piling rigs to the site. ■ Trains removed spoil from the site. ■ Temporary piles installed to stabilise the rigs. ■ First row of contiguous piles installed, near the brow of the slope. ■ Second row of contiguous piles installed, closest to the river. ■ Concrete slab laid over the top of the piles. ■ Track with stone and ballast laid on the slab. ■ Driver training. ■ Follow-up works to restore full 60mph line speed.
