-

New gatelines are being trialled at Bristol Temple Meads, aimed at reducing passenger congestion at peak times.

They will operate between 0730-0930 and 1630-1830 on weekdays. The first trial began on July 11 (as this issue of RAIL went to press), with the second on July 18. The trial was booked to finish on July 22.

Network Rail will monitor their impact and effectiveness, and assess feedback from passengers before deciding how to implement any changes.
