National Rail Timetable

The new rail timetable produced by Middleton Press in May, which is a derivative of the British section of ‘European Rail Times’, was well-received by many for its accuracy and portability, and it will continue.

However, many missed having the full National Rail Timetable ( NRT) for its completeness. Thanks to behind-the-scenes support of Transport Focus and (not least) the Office of Rail and Road, the NRT files have been amended and Middleton Press has decided to re-start publication alongside the newer version.

The updated May edition will be published at the end of July. Small print runs, inevitable at this late stage, mean the price has to be quite high (£31.75 including postage), and it will only be obtained by placing an order via the Middleton Press website ( www.middletonpress.co.uk) by the end of July. It will not be available from bookshops.

I hope all those who said they were willing to pay more for the NRT itself will support this project.
