Network Rail takes on extra apprentices for 2016
Network Rail is recruiting 15 more apprentices for its 2016 intake.
NR recruits 150 apprentices per year, and says this year there is additional demand. It has vacancies at Manchester, Stockport, Preston, Warrington, Liverpool, Crewe, Carlisle, Stafford, Sandwell & Dudley, Bletchley, Banbury and London Euston.
Successful applicants had until July 18 to apply, with the three-year scheme beginning on September 24. They will spend 20 weeks at NR’s development centre near Coventry before moving to their local depots.
The Advanced Apprenticeship programme offers people aged 18 and over the opportunity to earn while they learn.
