Bude:

Con­nect Bude is a new ac­tion group that aims to re­con­nect the Cor­nish coastal re­sort with the na­tional net­work at Oke­hamp­ton. It wants bet­ter bus ser­vices to there and Bod­min Park­way un­til this hap­pens, and may hold ral­ly­ing meet­ings at Holswor­thy and Hal­will Junc­tion in the com­ing months.

Churston:

The Dart­mouth Steam Rail­way has been given a por­ta­ble build­ing by Net­work Rail and Amey, for sig­nalling use. The build­ing was for­merly lo­cated at South Marston Junc­tion ( Swin­don).

Marsh Bar­ton:

Plans for the £ 7 mil­lion- plus new sta­tion be­tween Ex­eter and Star­cross are founder­ing be­cause Devon County Coun­cil now has no money for it. The au­thor­ity has been told that it can be ac­com­mo­dated in the West of Eng­land Line op­er­at­ing timetable, but any other ad­di­tional sta­tion be­tween Ex­eter St Davids and New­ton Ab­bot could not.

Nor­ton:

The area for the 500- space car park at Worces­ter­shire Park­way has been marked out, ready for a start on the main build­ing. The lo­ca­tion is just east of Junc­tion 7 of the M5 mo­tor­way.

Walling­ford:

Parts of the train shed re­cov­ered from Maiden­head sta­tion in 2015 are be­ing re- erected by con­trac­tors at the ter­mi­nus of the Cholsey & Walling­ford Rail­way sta­tion. The Rail­way Her­itage Trust is con­tribut­ing to the £ 320,000 project.
