Northern orders more ‘195/1s’

Northern is ordering three extra three-car Class 195/1 diesel multiple units from Spanish train builder CAF.

The train operator has ordered 25 two-car sets and (with the latest addition) 30 threecar trains. The first train was delivered in July 2018 and the fleet is due to be in full service by December 2019.
