NAO to probe Crossrail delays

A National Audit Office team under Director LeeAnne Murray is investigating Crossrail’s cost increases and delays, and governance and oversight arrangements by its joint sponsors, Transport for London and the Department for Transport.

TfL revealed earlier this year that the east-west line under central London would open almost a year late, rather than in December 2018 ( RAIL 861).
