ScotRail sends train­ing ‘43s’ to Brush for over­haul

ScotRail has dis­patched the first pair of Class 43 High Speed Train power cars to Brush Trac­tion, Lough­bor­ough, for over­haul.

The power cars (43021 and 43145) ran from In­ver­ness on Novem­ber 13. They have been in Scot­land for crew train­ing since be­ing sent off-lease by Great West­ern Rail­way.

Two more un­re­fur­bished ‘43s’ ar­rived in Scot­land on Novem­ber 10, when 43131/137 ar­rived at Glas­gow Works with six Mk 3 coaches pre­vi­ously stored at Ely Pot­ters Group.

The ex-GWR ‘43s’ hauled Trailer First (TF) 41104/130, Trailer Stan­dard (TS) 42030, 42206 and Trailer Guard’s Stan­dard (TGS) 44010/032 north.
