IBM stops to stop

-

ScotRail plans to cease calling at IBM station, on the Glasgow-Wemyss Bay line, because passenger numbers have fallen since the closure of the factory for which it opened in 1978. No trains will call from December’s timetable change, and ScotRail will mothball the station. Patronage in 2010-11 was 136,000. In 2016-17 it was 6,000.
