Consultation on new Midlands stations

-

Members of the public have been invited to share opinions on initial designs of new stations in the West Midlands, ahead of the final designs being submitted to Birmingham City Council.

A series of exhibitions revealed the planned designs for stations at Moseley, Kings Heath and Hazelwell as part of a project to reopen the Camp Hill Line to passenger traffic.

Transport for West Midlands, which is leading the project, said it expects construction work to start in 2020 with a view to having the three stations open by the end of 2021 - in time for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
