TPE brings Class 68s to York Leeman Road

On November 20, TransPennine Express 68022/027/023 ran light from Crewe to York, which will be their base for static and practical driver training in the coming weeks. On the same day, 68027 and 68023 became the first of the class to visit York Traincare Depot at Leeman Road, where they will be based. The ‘68s’ stand at the depot, having left 68022 in the city’s station to be used for crew training trips to Scarborough.
