A roof spoof?

-

I thought the article about LNER Azumas being put on hold because someone could access the roof must be a belated April Fools.

Let’s go the whole hog and stop passengers boarding any train, in case the catering staff spill hot liquids on them while riding over rough track!

Why not a sign saying “climbing on the roof and getting electrocuted is a bit silly”? Or perhaps change the onboard announcements to “on leaving the train please take your personal possessions and don’t climb on the roof”.

Presumably M will now tell James Bond not to fight any villains on carriage roofs anymore? Mike Clark, Poole
